Hotel Boby (http://www.bobycentrum.com/) - close to the Mendel University campus (a ten-minute walk away) and connected to the Mendel Museum (workshop venue) by a direct connection (15 min. ride) from a bus-stop approx. 100m from the hotel. Single room price: 1250 CZK per night.

If you would prefer to stay close to the workshop venue, there is the possibility of a guest house (penzion) right behind the Mendel Museum.
You would have to take the bus (the same 15-min ride as above, in the opposite direction) to get to the university.
The guest house is called "Penzion in Old Brno" (http://www.pension-brno.com/en/). Single room price: 990 CZK per night. This price is valid for the dates of your visit (12th - 15th June). Please be aware that this establishment accepts payment in cash only (both CZK as well as EUR).

Please be aware that you would have to pay for the accommodation out of your per diem.
